madreal - the art of Derrick Hodgson
Canadian artist Derrick Hodgson says that a lot of his drawings come from his fears and angst. Think
cute-yet-disturbed rodents, bears, grannies and kiddies. He's a busy man, with design requests for
T-shirts and snowboards, contributions to a new book called Boredom being released by New York collective
Faile, and upcoming issues of Zoo, Rojo and Jpeg. He's set up the Hoboyard Toy Collective, a line of
hand-made toys, and is part of a project
called Rhythmanifest with Jonathan Bird of Lyric. Go crazy at his website.

Spine Magazine
Very much our kinda site, Spine looks at hip hop and B-Boy culture i.e. MCing, Breaking,
Turntablism and Graffiti. Loads of articles, reviews, and news on the aforementioned and anything else
they like the look of, like art, photography, fashion, design, cool toys, and horror movies.
It also features wicked interviews with the cream of underground hip hop - recently DJ Vadim, Mr. Lif,
